New feature: Spotify, one of Israelis’ favorite apps, has announced the launch of a new interface called “Lyrics”. As its name implies, the simple interface displays the lyrics to favorite songs, and as of today (Thursday) it is now available to Premium Spotify users and free users all over the world – including Israel.
As mentioned, to enable the Lyrics experience, Spotify is collaborating with Musixmatch. Which gives users access to the lyrics from most of the songs in the Spotify library. The new feature will be available on all iOS and Android devices, on desktops, game consoles and TVs.
How does it work on a mobile phone?
Click “Play Now”. While listening to the song, slide the bottom of the screen up, where you will find the lyrics scrolling in sync with the music.

To share the song and lyrics, simply press the “Share” key that appears with the lyrics and select the lyrics you want to share – and where you want to share them – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp (available on Android devices only).
How does it work on the desktop?
Click on the microphone icon in the “Now playing” bar while the song is playing, and you can see the lyrics scrolling along with the music.
How does it work in the SpotifyTV app?
Press the “Now playing” key in the song
Press the “lyrics key” in the corner of the screen and confirm the song lyrics.
Once you have confirmed the action, you will see the words on the screen.
