jpnn.comJAKARTA – Spotify has launched a daylist, a personalized playlist that changes throughout the day, according to the platform users’ habits in listening to music.

The music playlist, which was introduced to the English-speaking market last year, is now available to both free and premium users of the service globally.

Additionally, the company announced the addition of support for 14 more languages, including Arabic, Catalan, French (Canada), French (France), German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Mexico), and Turkish.

Users can access the daylist in the Spotify app via the “Made for You” section. The feature is also accessible via the website.

The playlist of songs and their titles are updated throughout the day with new titles, such as bedroom pop banger early morning or 90s rave rainforest late night.

At the time of the feature’s launch, Spotify said the company was using custom music data and micro-genres, listened to at specific times of the day, to suggest songs and update the daylist.

Users can also save specific playlists they like by tapping the three-dot menu, selecting the Add to playlist option, and tapping New Playlist to save it to their library.

Spotify introduced daylists in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland in September 2023 and made them available in 65 other countries in March 2024.
