Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad’s opening batsman Travis Head created a ruckus against Lucknow Supergiants with his stormy batting. Travis batted aggressively and completed his fifty in just 16 balls. This season, Travis Head has achieved the feat of scoring a fifty in 16 balls for the second time. Due to Travis’ stormy batting, Sunrisers team defeated Lucknow by 10 wickets in the match. Along with Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head took Sunrisers to the target in just 9.4 overs.
Travis Head remained unbeaten for the team after scoring 89 runs in 30 balls. In this innings he also hit 8 fours and 8 sixes. He made a partnership of 167 runs with Abhishek Sharma. Apart from Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma also played a stormy innings of 75 runs in 28 balls.
Sunrisers’ first win over Lucknow
Due to the stormy batting of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, Sunrisers team was successful in defeating Lucknow for the first time in IPL.
