Nauman Ali broke the partnership, but D’Silva’s fightback in partnership with tail-enders Wellage (18) and Ramesh Mendis (45*) gave Lanka a solid lead. Finally, when D’Silva was run out, Lanka declared the innings. Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz took two wickets each for Pakistan.
