In a report published in this regard, the EDB revealed that Sri Lanka recorded a total of US$ 14.99 billion in exports for 2022, which is US$ 3.08 billion more than what it earned in 2021.
According to the report, the estimated value of services exports during the period January to December 2023 was USD 3,080.9 million, an increase of 63.1% over the corresponding period in 2022, while the overall merchandise exports during the period January to December 2023 decreased by 9.54% compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
