Dhaka: Sri Lanka won the second Test against Bangladesh by 10 wickets. In the second innings, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat. With this victory, Sri Lanka won the two-match Test series. The first match of the series ended in a draw. Score: Bangladesh 365, 169. Sri Lanka 506, 29 not out.

But in the first innings, Sri Lanka had a clear lead over Bangladesh. The visitors scored 506 in the first innings. Veteran Angelo Mathews was Sri Lanka’s toss scorer with 145 not out. Dinesh Chandimal also scored 124 runs. Oshanda Fernando (57), Dimuth Karuna Ratna (80) and Dhananjaya de Silva (58) were the other notable contributors. Shakib Al Hasan took five wickets for Bangladesh while Abadot Hassan took four wickets. Sri Lanka took a 141-run lead in the first innings.

Bangladesh were bowled out for 141 in the second innings. Sri Lanka beat the Bengal Tigers by just 169 runs. Shakib Al Hasan (58) and Lytton Das (52) were the only batsmen to shine for the hosts. Asita Fernando took six wickets for Sri Lanka. He took a total of 10 wickets in the match.

Bangladesh set a 28-run lead in the second innings with just 28 runs to spare. Osanda were unbeaten on 21 and Karunaratne on seven.
