A Sri Lankan woman has achieved top marks in Britain.

Udarna Jayawardena, a student studying at Stroud High School in Gloucestershire, has passed with excellent marks.

This student has migrated to Britain from Sri Lanka only last September.

Within a year of his arrival, he had achieved a top grade nine (grade 9) in his GCSE exams.

Now it is said that he has never studied the subjects he has chosen before and has passed with excellent marks in the subjects he studied for the first time.

The Gloucestershire school has praised the girl’s talent.
