Finance Minister Ali Sabri has said he plans to seek a further $ 500 million in loan assistance from India to import fuel for five weeks.
He also sought the help of the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, China, the United States, Britain and the Middle East.
He added that Sri Lanka was ready to restructure international sovereignty, repay the debt and seek the necessary time.
Finance Minister Ali Sabri has expressed confidence that a $ 1 billion international sovereign agreement to be paid to Sri Lanka will be discussed in July.
He said the country would have to raise tax rates and raise fuel prices further in the next six months in an effort to adjust government funding.
In addition, the governor of the central bank said he would travel to Washington on the 18th for talks with the International Monetary Fund.
