by time news
In Sri Lanka, which is mired in an unprecedented economic crisis, the prices of essential commodities have skyrocketed. Fuel including rice, wheat, petrol, diesel and cooking gas cylinders have also been severely restricted.

The people’s president and prime minister are outraged by this. They have been fighting in the streets demanding the resignation of all Rajapaksas as Finance Minister. They also insist that an interim government be formed. Opposition parties are also pushing for this.

But President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa had recently stated categorically that he would not resign for any reason. Mahinda Rajapaksa has also recently announced that he will not resign. Outraged college students have been besieging the Prime Minister’s official residence, chanting ‘Go home Rajapaksa’.

I will not resign no matter what happens … Mahinda Rajapaksa who likes Adam!
In this context, it has been reported that President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has agreed to form an interim government, a sudden turn in Sri Lankan politics. The sources further said that Gotabhaya had said this in his reply letter to the Buddhist clergy.

In his letter, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa stated that he wanted to form an interim government and was trying to resolve the economic crisis as soon as possible.

Former minister and disgruntled MP Udayakammanpila has said that Rajapaksa will bring a no-confidence motion against the government in this situation.

‘Go home Rajapaksa’ … Mahinda shocked by the loud voice of the students!
Udaya Kamanpila, who was removed from office by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, has said that 120 MPs support the no-confidence motion to be brought by the United People’s Power Party.

The Prime Minister’s Office has denied the allegations, saying “there is no need for Mahinda Rajapaksa to resign as the government still has a majority.”
