Dhaka: Former Indian all-rounder Sreedharan Sriram has been appointed as the coach of the Bangladesh cricket team. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced that Sreedharan Sreeram will be the coach for the Asia Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates and the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia. In this regard, Bangladesh Cricket Board Director said, “Sreedharan Sriram has been appointed as the coach till the T20 World Cup”.

The 46-year-old Sreedharan Sreeram has played 8 ODIs for the Indian team between 2000 and 2004. He has worked as a spin coach in the Australian cricket team for a long time. He has been the assistant coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL.
