Tirupur: A new branch of SRM, Sweets and Cakes was opened yesterday near the old bus stand in Tirupur. SRM, Sweets and Cakes has its headquarters in Erode. Its branches are operating in Erode, Perundurai, Gobi, Namakkal, Thiruchengode, Kumarapalayam, Karur etc. Following this, SRM, the company’s new branch was opened yesterday at Palladam Road near Tirupur Old Bus Stand. The opening ceremony was presided over by Makudeeswaran, the owner of SRM. The directors of Tirupur branch Sudarvannan and Paranidharan presided and welcomed. Exporters Federation of India (PEO) President Shakthivel inaugurated the branch. Owners of Star Time Apparels Iswaramurthy – Maheshwari and Sivakumar – Shanthi, Dharani and Surasindu lit the torch. Tamil Nadu Theater Owners Association President Sakthi Subramaniam inaugurated the first sale and Siva Blumetals company owner Adiyur received money. Vinod Singharam, Govindaraj, Mohan, Madana Gopal, Thirunagar Colony Sivakumar, Satish, Erode Heart Charity Movement President Mahadevan and many others participated in the function.
