St. Patrick’s Day 2024: The Gallows Fellows in the St. Pölten town hall

A little piece of Ireland visiting the state capital with the band Gallows Fellows go Irish.

ST. POELTEN. On Friday, March 15th, the St. Pölten magistrate invited people to the annual celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Most visitors agreed on one thing: Irish music always works.

“In connection with Ireland, we also celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in a good atmosphere in the town hall,” explains Ewald Buschenreiter.

“Irish music always puts you in a good mood, the tasty Killkenny rounds off the experience,” summarize Monika Shwarzil and her friends.

“In our family there was always an ‘Irish stew’ for St. Patrick’s Day,” says Seda Ilhan, revealing her family tradition.
“I think it’s great that if I can’t go to Ireland, I can at least take a short vacation here,” says Sabine Aichinger-Holzapfel, describing her impression of the evening.

“A unique Irish concert in a fantastic atmosphere, very atmospheric,” raves Martin Helmreich about the Gallows Fellows.

“This is the second time we’ve been to a Gallows Fellows concert. The music is always a highlight. The band exudes such joy,” says Urusula Liebmann.

“It’s our first time here, but we’re totally excited and blown away. There’s always a good atmosphere with Irish music,” says Sabine Rihs about the atmosphere.
