The Central District Court in Lod today (Sunday) convicted the terrorist Muhammad Risha in the stabbing attack in Kfar Saba on Memorial Day for IDF casualties. Risha was convicted, after his confession, of attempted murder in the circumstances of an act of terrorism and entering Israel illegally.
In the deadly attack, the terrorist Risha stabbed Batya Lebel, 13 times in all parts of her body. Lebel was evacuated in critical condition to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba. Today, Lebel, together with Adv. Haim Bleicher from the Honno organization, came to court to be present at the time of the terrorist’s conviction in an attempt to murder her.
Advocate Haim Bleicher of the Honno organization, which assists and represents Lebel as a victim of a crime, said, It was important for us to expedite the conviction of the terrorist as this is a case that testifies to the savagery of the terrorist savages. “Precisely in the period of rising terrorism, we will demand that the terrorist be given the maximum punishment that will constitute a call for direction to aggravate punishment in the courts and in legislation against Islamic terrorism.”
