Stabbed her repeatedly, returned to his apartment, washed his hands and left the building: indictment against the killer of the late Leader Suisa

by time news

The indictment filed by lawyer Karen Inbar Fishbein indicates that at the beginning of February of this year, Chaimovitz murdered Lider Suisa, his neighbor, claiming that the noise she was making disturbed his rest, and because she called the police after he approached her with allegations a few days before the day of the murder.

Lider and her husband lived on the sixth floor of the building and Haimowitz on the fifth floor, with his apartment located below theirs. On many occasions over a period of about two years, Chaimovitz complained to Lider and her husband about the noise coming from their apartment, and on many occasions he cut off their electricity and went as far as to knock on their door.

A few days before the murder incident, Chaimovitz knocked on the door of Lider’s house, complaining about a hum coming from the apartment. She explained that there was no buzzing and tried to slam the door while Haimowitz tried to force his way into the apartment. Lider called the police, who talked to Chaimovitz and made it clear to him that there was no buzzing and that he should stop bothering them. So, Chaimovitz decided to kill Leader and equipped himself with a knife.

On 8/2 in the early morning hours, Chaimovitz heard that Lider left her apartment and ordered the elevator, he took the knife, left his apartment and ordered the elevator to stop on his floor. When the elevator stopped on the fifth floor, the accused opened a door, cursed Leader and stabbed her in the chest with the knife while she struggled with him. Later, Chaimovitz pulled and pushed her towards the stairs while she tried to fight him when he pushed her away and pushed her down the stairs. At one point Lider fell on her stomach, so he stabbed her in the back four times and stopped when he thought he had killed her. He then returned to his apartment, washed his hands, and left the building.

In the arrest request at the end of the proceedings, attorney Inbar Fishbein stated: “The defendant committed the murder in a particularly brutal manner, coldly and after planning…”
