The government proposed a separate resolution to discuss the Governor’s activities and passed it in the Assembly, relaxing the rules of not discussing the Governor.

He accused the Governor of working as a politician instead of fulfilling his role as a guide and friend to the people and the government. Stalin further criticized the Governor’s activities and accused him of turning the Raj Bhavan into a political palace.
The Governor did not respond to the comments made in the Assembly, and the AIADMK staged a walkout in protest. The government’s separate resolution was passed in the Assembly, and Stalin urged the President to give appropriate instructions to the Governor to approve the bills passed in the Assembly.
