CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government has taken up a new plan for the school breakfast program that has been started in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu Government is introducing a first in India scheme called “Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme” for government school students. The Tamil Nadu government has taken up this program while other states have not yet completed the mid-day meal program.

On May 7, Chief Minister Stalin announced this in the Assembly under Rule No. 110. Subsequently, this project was launched today in Nelpettai, Madurai.
