The incidents occurred on Saturday night during a concert by the Argentine cumbia groups Ke Personajes and 18 Kilates at the Lajastambo Fairgrounds, a venue with a capacity for some 20,000 people.

The doctor said that seven people were also injured, all female, one of them with “polytrauma.”

According to Lescano, “there was a concert and there was an avalanche of people.”

Images circulated on social networks of dozens of people fleeing the place, forcing the metal mesh.
