The Board of Directors of Standard Bank PLC, a listed company in the banking sector of the capital market, has released the unaudited financial report for the second quarter (April-June, 2024) and half-yearly (January-June, 2024) of the current financial year. According to the published report, the profit of the company has increased in the half-yearly quarter under discussion.

On Sunday (July 28), this information was revealed by Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE).

The company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the second quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 0.17. In the corresponding period of the previous financial year, the EPS of the company was Rs.0.06. Accordingly, the company’s EPS increased by Tk 0.11 or 183 percent in the quarter under discussion.

Meanwhile, the company’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the six months or half-yearly quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 0.32. In the corresponding period of the previous financial year, the EPS of the company was Rs.0.13. Accordingly, the company’s EPS has increased by Tk 0.19 or 146 percent in the current quarter.

As on June 30, 2024, the company’s consolidated net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Rs.17.
