The film, produced by LEO Pictures, will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting August 29, 2024.
Directed by Bobby Prasetyo, the film Thaghut raises the main theme of boundaries that must be maintained in spiritual life.

Playing the role of Ainun, Yasmin Napper tells of her struggles during the filming of the film.
According to him, the most difficult challenge during the scenes in the film Thaghut was when acting possessed.
“For me, the most difficult thing was the possession scene,” said Yasmin Napper in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Thursday (15/8) evening.
In order to play the scene, the 20-year-old woman went through a reading process and consulted with an acting coach.
