jpnn.comJAKARTA – Actresses Ratu Sofya and Nova Eliza star in the latest horror film entitled Almarhum.

This film, produced by Unlimited Production, in collaboration with Light House, A&Z Films, and DAP, dives into the Javanese myth of Tuesday Kliwon.

Produced by Oswin Bonifanz, the film Almarhum highlights the Javanese belief that Kliwon Tuesday is a day that brings bad luck, especially for the family left behind by someone who died on that day.

It is believed that their spirits find it difficult to reach the afterlife, wander around, and can even ‘invite’ other family members to become sacrifices.

Playing the role of Nuri, Ratu Sofya, revealed her challenging filming experience.

One of them is the scene when he has to be buried for six hours.

“One of the most challenging scenes was when I had to be buried for 6 hours. The conditions were really tense, my body was shivering, my breathing was short, and the feeling was unforgettable even after filming was finished,” said Ratu Sofya in the Bekasi area, West Java, Saturday (4 /1).

“All of this is to provide a real horror experience for you. Basically, you really have to watch Almarhum,” he continued.
