Hollywood and the art world converged in Los Angeles on November 7, 2026, for the 15th annual LACMA Art+Film Gala at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, honoring artist Vija Celmins and filmmaker Denis Villeneuve while raising funds for the museum’s curatorial film programming, according to Yahoo.
Leonardo DiCaprio and museum trustee Eva Chow co-chaired the event for the 15th consecutive year. Gucci returned as the presenting partner, a role the luxury house has maintained since the gala’s 2011 debut.
The evening drew actors, musicians, and models to the museum grounds. The red carpet was set against artist Chris Burden’s Urban Light installation. Kim Kardashian turned out to support the visual arts. Alix Earle, Kylie Jenner, Anya Taylor-Joy, Andrew Garfield, Nicole Kidman, Julia Garner, Quinta Brunson, Brittany Snow, and Ashley Park attended the annual fundraiser.
Museum Honors Celmins and Villeneuve at Gala
The 2026 gala recognized two distinct figures in contemporary arts. Vija Celmins was honored for her detailed artworks exploring the beauty and complexity of the natural world,
according to the museum.

Denis Villeneuve was celebrated for becoming one of the most influential directors working today,
as noted by LACMA. Proceeds from the night directly support the museum’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s broader mission. This includes exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programming, in addition to screenings that explore the intersection of art and film,
as detailed in event materials.
Blackpink star Rosé provided the evening’s live music. She joined a historic roster of past musical guests that includes Stevie Wonder, Florence and the Machine, Elton John, and Charli XCX.
Celebrities Debut Archival Fashion on the Red Carpet
Anya Taylor-Joy drew attention by wearing a repurposed archival Pierre Cardin haute couture bridal gown originally shown in 1997. The haute couture gown is a slip style featuring a sheer silver overlay with a floral print.
Taylor-Joy paired the archival look with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a Schlumberger Stars and Moons necklace and stud diamond earrings with silver hardware. Paris Hilton arrived in a dazzling silver gown that hugged her slender figure.
Nicole Kidman wore a fitted, long-sleeved beige bodice that contrasted beautifully with a voluminous, layered ivory tulle skirt. Alex Consani arrived in an asymmetrical twisted Gucci dress with a voluminous pleated skirt and a zig-zag hem.

Consani previously attended the fundraiser in a sheer, shimmering champagne gown covered in sequins with a plunging halter neckline and ultra-high slit. The event’s fashion legacy includes prior major red carpet moments from Demna’s creative direction, alongside prominent looks from historical houses such as Valentino and Saint Laurent.
Iris Law made a striking fashion statement, wearing a striking sheer dress. Additional stars seen arriving at the museum included Andrew Garfield, Brittany Snow, Ashley Park, and many others.
