Starship Troopers: Annihilation Declaration – IGN

by time news

Developer Offworld Industries has announced Starship Troopers: Extermination, an upcoming 12-player PvE first-person shooter for PC inspired by the 1997 sci-fi movie. It is scheduled for Early Access in 2023. Take a look at Trailer above and first screenshots in the gallery below.

Starship Troopers: Annihilation promises large-scale team-based battles against the bugs you remember from the movie. You’ll play as an elite Deep Space Vanguard soldier in one of three playable classes: Assault, Support, and Defense. New perks and gear will be unlocked as you progress through the class progression system.

More details: Annihilation will feature a Titanfall-like ping system to make it easier for players to communicate in the middle of a firefight, while tougher bugs start to swarm as the threat level increases. You will also need to build and maintain your own defenses – constructing walls, ammo stations, lookouts, and so on.

Compose a massive map of five regions on a grand scale as you battle five different types of insects. Check out the first gameplay teaser and some exclusive concept art below:
