Thiruvananthapuram: Wild animals chased away at the Agri Hackathon held on the occasion of Vaigayo.

1st Prize in Start-Up Category for Directing. Team Fuselage Innovations has introduced a system that uses drones to identify wild animals entering farms, send notifications to farmers and chase them away by emitting ultrasonic sound waves.

Team Cocobot, which won the first prize in the general category, presented robotic coconut harvesting. This is a system where only ripe coconuts are picked by a robotic hand after recognizing the color of the coconut.

Team Max Q won the first prize in the college category for its aphid warning system. The second prize goes to Team Bijaz’s automatic system for hydroponics cultivation.

Minister P. Prasad distributed the prizes.
