In the first half of this year, the State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan ensured the payment of 75 million manats from privatization to the state budget.
The State Service informed Day.Az about this on Friday.
According to the information, this is 24 percent more than in the same period last year.
During the specified period, 29 auctions were held. Shares of 4 joint-stock companies, 6 small state enterprises, 412 vehicles were sold at the auctions. During the first 6 months of this year, 305 electronic applications for participation in auctions for the privatization of state property were accepted, 38 online connections were made to participate in auctions through the “Electronic Auction” software.
During this period, the Baku Aluminum Profile LLC was privatized through an investment competition. In addition, an investment competition was announced for the privatization of the Baku Marble Granite LLC. The competition committee is currently evaluating the proposals.
