State Hockey Tournament Nilgiris Team Selection

Gunnur: The Nilgiris team has qualified for the state hockey tournament. The regional level hockey tournament was held in Erode on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority. The Western Region teams from Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Karur, Erode, Salem and Tiruppur took part in it. The Nilgiris team won the first place by getting more points. The team has qualified for the state tournament to be held in Ramanathapuram later this month. At the Gunnar Government Upper Level School Grounds, the team is undergoing intensive training.
