Bagur: Arianguppam won the first place in the state level go-go competition.
On behalf of Puducherry School Education Department Third Circle, State Level Go-Go and Kabaddi Competitions between Education Circles were held on 28th and 29th at Bagur Bharati Government Higher Secondary School Sports Ground.
The competition was inaugurated by Senthilkumar MLA. Physical Education Department Deputy Director Sivakumar, Bagur Bharati Government High School Vice Principal Sudha, State Competitions Planning Committee Officer Sivakumar congratulated the students.
In this, 360 sportsmen and women from educational circles in Puducherry, Karaikal, Magi, Enam participated. In the go-go game, under-14 girls category, Arianguppam 3rd circle team won first place, Kathirgamam 2nd circle team won second place and Villanuar 4th circle team won third place.
In the under-17 girls category, the 3rd round team won the first place, the 1st round team got the second place, and the 4th round team got the third place.
In Kabaddi under-17 boys category, 4th circle team won first place, Karaikal 6th circle team got second place and 2nd circle team got third place.
In the men’s under-19 category, the 4th circle team won the first place, the Karaikal 5th circle team got the second place, and the 3rd circle team got the third place.
Senthilkumar MLA felicitated the winning teams with prizes and certificates.
Third Circle School Education Secretary Palani, Physical Education Teacher Kamalakannan, Retired Physical Education Lecturer Arumugam, Child Welfare Committee Officer Sivasamy and many others participated in the event.
