State labor court clears the way for works council at Gorillas

Already early on this dreary Tuesday morning in room 334 of the Berlin State Labor Court (LAB) a tendency became apparent. The presiding judge Claudia Nowak begins the negotiation by stating that labor law sets high hurdles for breaking off a works council election. For this, there would have to be “serious violations of electoral regulations” and “serious errors” in the process. Perhaps the lawyers for the Gorillas delivery service already suspected that they could leave the room as a loser – for the second time in a week.
