Member of the Legislative Assembly KP Sangha on Sunday presented the trophy and prizes to the winners of the two-day state-level badminton tournament in Tiruvottiyur.
The state level badminton tournament was held in Tiruvottiyur. It was attended by 34 players from 17 teams from various leading sports organizations. A total of 26 matches were played. Two teams from the ICF and the Southern Railway took part in Sunday’s final.
Aravindan and Vignesh from the ICF team won the trophy. Rajesh and Sathyamoorthy, who competed in the Southern Railway, won second place. Overall, Rahul and Ganesh of Tiruvottiyur Badminton Club were named the best players.
KP Sangha, Member, Tiruvottiyur Legislative Assembly, who was the special guest at the final award ceremony, presented trophies and cash prizes to the winners.
