Tirunelveli Central Rotary Club and Suran Kudi Christopher Arts and Science Arts College, Nanguneri organized the South Indian Women’s Volleyball Tournament and the State Level Volleyball Tournament for the Disabled.
Praveen Christopher, President of the college inaugurated the tournament which started at VUC ground, Palayangottai. A total of 28 matches were played in the series in which 17 teams participated.
In the state-level volleyball tournament for the disabled, teams from Coimbatore, Thoothukudi, Madurai, Virudhunagar and Tenkasi are in Group A, teams from Kanyakumari, Nilgiris, Pudukottai and Tirunelveli are in Group B, teams from Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Trichy and Theni are in Group C, and teams from Krishnagiri, Chennai and Sivakasi are in Group D. received

Likewise, teams including Tamil Nadu Police GKM Chennai Joseph College Alphonsa College participated in the women’s volleyball competition at the South Indian level.
