Last March 13, Sunday, the Museum of America (Madrid) reported on its website that its facilities would remain closed to the public for “organizational reasons”. A month earlier, on February 13, he had used the same reason. In fact, as internal communications to which ABC has had access show, the museum closed in March “due to lack of responsible personnel for the correct opening and closing” of the museum; in February, “due to the lack of a senior goalkeeper.” The same has been happening with the National Sculpture Museum (Valladolid), which closed the door in February “for organizational reasons.” The real reason was “lack of box office coverage.”

Several of the sixteen state museums warn on their web pages that “occasionally” some of their rooms cannot be visited “for organizational reasons” or “for reasons of internal organization.”
