The United States has announced that it will supply Ukraine with advanced military equipment to fight a war with Russia.
In the war between Ukraine and Russia, the United States, Britain, and European countries are supporting Ukraine. Those countries continue to provide military aid to Ukraine. The United States has already provided large amounts of military equipment and financial aid to Ukraine.
In this case, US President Biden announced last Thursday that he will provide additional military aid worth 3.75 billion USD (Rs. 32,000 crore) to Ukraine. Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken has officially announced it. Of that, $225 million will be used to modernize Ukraine’s military on a long-term basis. This brings the total amount of US aid to Ukraine to $24.9 billion.
In additional military aid, the United States will provide the Ukrainian military with 50 M2-A2 Bradley armored vehicles for the first time. The armored vehicles are known to be capable of destroying the enemy’s sophisticated military equipment as well. In addition, the US defense organization Pentagon has announced that it will provide the Ukrainian army with various modern equipment, including anti-aircraft missiles and explosives.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin spoke in detail with Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov regarding new military aid, the US White House said.
