Static opens the box office: Seven months after the duo Static and Ben El Tabori announced a separation of powers, Static’s management and PR team announces his solo performance at Menorah Hall on April 3.
The separation between Statik and Ben Al provided many yellow headlines for the media, with the highlight being the bare documentary film “Learez” broadcast on Channel 12, where he spoke about the separation from his musical partner and his wife Sarit Polak. These days, Statik is promoting a new album, for the production of which he gathered the best writers who locked themselves in a villa in Caesarea, and now it’s time for the performance.
Oron Kalfon, the manager of Statik, said that this is a “one-time premiere show with crazy guest singers, dozens of musicians and dancers, crazy lighting design at a foreign standard, screens you’ve never seen and the most expensive sound – and everything comes together for one evening of the new album.”
“My loved ones, what a special day today,” Static shared on his Instagram account, “so many of you ask me when I’m finally coming back to perform, and the truth is that I avoided answering because it was really hard for me to talk about it and get into it. You don’t understand what it’s like to be absent from the stage for seven months. As an artist this is a very difficult experience. I miss you so much and it burns me, but it was important to me that the first date after such a long period without you be as magical as possible. So I am happy to inform you that at the beginning of next month we are flying together to new heights in the most investment you’ve seen in Israel. I’m really charged at such a crazy level to sing you the whole new album, and of course all the hits we love from Static and Ben El. It’s going to be a crazy night that we won’t forget for the rest of our lives.”
