/ The “Transfer Market” website for football statistics revealed, on Friday, the list of the most expensive clubs in the world in terms of market value, as the year 2023 approaches its end.
Manchester City, the world, European and English champion, topped the list with a value of 1.29 billion euros, followed by Arsenal (1.11), Real Madrid (1.04) and Paris Saint-Germain (1.03) billion.
No other team is worth more than a billion euros except for this quartet, with Chelsea coming in fifth place with a value of 984 million euros.
Bayern Munich are in sixth place with a value of 932 million euros, ahead of Liverpool, which is valued at 867 million.
Barcelona came in eighth place with a value of 818 million euros, followed by Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur with a value of 795 and 755 million respectively.
