Five years after the release of the Nintendo Switch, Valve, an American video game development and digital distribution company, added support for Steam consoles. Essential for the Nintendo Switch video game system.

With the new software, Joy-Cons can be used either individually or as part of a matching pair to play games, according to Engadget.

If you want to try out the feature, you need to sign up for the Steam trial.

You can do this by going to the Steam settings menu and clicking “Change” under the “Beta Sharing” heading.

Keep in mind that you’ll need either a Bluetooth adapter or a motherboard with a Bluetooth connection to use Joy-Cons with Steam since the controller can’t be connected to your computer through a cable as you do on most gamepads.
