Resilience and reinvention are two concepts that define in a good way the trajectory of the Steel Artists Cultural Corporation, especially in recent years, in which it has had to face economic crisis, social unrest, pandemic and much more.
A necessary path to highlight and celebrate, which during the day yesterday, at its headquarters in O’Higgins 1255, had its milestone celebration for its 64 years of life. “From my point of view, Artistas del Acero has a quality, which is that it has been adapting to the times, we have been adapting to the conditions that have been given over time, which gives us a certain flexibility in the work of the cultural artistic world, with the new proposals and formats, the new technologies. We have been incorporating all this into our services”, said Arnoldo Weber, manager of Artistas del Acero, linked for more than three decades with the steel corporation.
An outstanding trajectory in which the work team that has been adding over the years has been key, Artistas del Acero, which has raised and created in each season different and attractive activities for the local audience and also from outside the Region.
“Basically, to get around the various difficulties and advance in the favorable moments, it is team building. The corporation understood that the only way to advance and evolve was to incorporate professionals from the area into its team, who have to do with cultural management, programming, projects and everything else. And that has allowed us to be very successful in what we get involved. We have a good relationship with the Ministry of Cultures, the Regional Government and community networks”.
With such a number of years, the projections and challenges go in the same direction as the circumstances of the moment, that is, they are adapted to what happens each season. “We see 2023 like every year, with optimism. As a manager I am never too concerned about the future in the sense of what is to come. You have to do things, plan, regardless of the difficulties you encounter, regardless of what they are, you always have to think that things will work out. The future is marked by that, by what you believe to do and the energy you put into it, along the way the load is fixed”, emphasized Weber.
One of the things that can be projected, and in line with this celebration, is the redesign of its more user-friendly and user-friendly website, which will allow the purchase of tickets for its various shows in Sala 100 to be counted from now on.
Also to celebrate this new anniversary, a digital marketing workshop was announced, which will be held during November for local artists and creators. It will be dictated by the teacher Rodrigo Maulén, an expert in the area.
And finally, during the summer there will be a series -9 in total- of summer workshops, which can be given away in December as a gift card for Christmas, and whose inscriptions will start the last week of November (aimed at boys and girls). from 5 to 13 years old).
