Stênio arrived in Vila das Aves last month, being one of the winter reinforcements for Jorge Costa’s AVS SAD. However, the winger already feels at home and emphasizes the unity of the group that welcomed him “from the first moment” to start working hard. In this sense, the Brazilian sees a team prepared to face Torreense this Saturday (2pm). “Our team has been working well during the week to face Torreense, who are very strong. We came from a very important victory against a very strong team, Marítimo, so I believe we are prepared to face the next challenge”, he revealed. the 20-year-old player, on loan to Avenses from Cruzeiro, stressing that the adaptation has “been easy, because of the united group and experienced players”. Regarding the objectives at a personal level, Stênio only mentioned that they are “the same as AVS” and does not distinguish them from collective objectives, stressing that it is through work that climbing to the 1st level can be possible: “Champions of the 2nd League? Yes, that’s our goal, I believe it’s very difficult and so we’re going to have to work hard to get there.”
Stênio could make his debut as a starter for AVS SAD, after playing 19 minutes in the victory against Marítimo (3-2).
