Still no resumption of guards at the medical center of Chartres hospital

by time news

The medical center of Chartres, affected at the beginning of the year by a tense strike movement, is still closed to the public. At the end of a new meeting in the prefecture on Tuesday January 10, the State, the ARS, the hospital, the Samu, the CPTS, the ADOPS and the liberal doctors would have found common ground. But all the claims put forward by doctors have not yet been implemented.

Among the proposals, the regulation of patients by a hospital triage officer. “Not only do I regret the time lost but also the two weeks of closure, cowardly, bitter, Julien Cottet, president of the order of doctors of Eure-et-Loir. These are hours of meeting and adrenaline spent for nothing…”

For two years, the allergist had been alerting the authorities to the increasingly tense situation leading to the crisis which upset the guards at the medical center of the Louis-Pasteur hospital, located in Coudray (Eure-et-Loir) in outskirts of Chartres. Since December 30, no permanence has been provided by the Liberals.

A letter to the Minister of Health

This weekend will therefore be a difficult weekend in perspective for patients, who will have to endure the situation for several more days, until a “resumption of consultations hoped for in the middle of next week, Thursday January 19, perhaps. If it is not in place this Monday, January 16, there will be no guard, that is a certainty. It will resume when everything is in place. So I can’t give a precise date, ”says the doctor.

“All the proposals have been accepted”, he notes, like this famous upstream regulation by an agent, “a regulator provided by the hospital, which will regulate patients and sort out the severity of emergencies, as in other sectors , with suitable equipment and a suitable room”.

In crisis since December 30, the medical house should notably operate with a limited and regulated number of patients.

According to the prefecture, the proposals made during the meeting received “the consent of all the partners”. But for the time being, “these proposals have not been applied”, specifies the president. ” We wait. »

Julien Cottet is delighted with these advances but is therefore awaiting their implementation. He hopes that the Minister of Health will enact an emergency plan to quickly introduce experimental measures in Eure-et-Loir. A letter signed by local parliamentarians, the president of the departmental council and the president of Chartres Métropole was delivered on Tuesday, January 10, to François Braun. “We have to get out of the doldrums and take action,” concludes Julien Cottet.
