Difficult process
For a long time, Bakken has shared honestly about the challenges of getting pregnant. In March last year, the pregnancy test showed two lines, but the joy was short-lived when it turned out that the pregnancy was outside the uterus. A week later, the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, and Bakken had to remove the right fallopian tube and the blood that remained in the abdomen.

Since then, the couple have shared openly about their journey towards becoming parents, and have been actively trying for a year and a half.
– I was open about it from the start because when I had the operation where I lost my fallopian tube, I think it was very difficult to keep my mouth shut about it. I was very open then, and have been open throughout the process. It feels completely natural to share that I have finally become pregnant.
