(ANSA) – MILAN, JULY 19 – Piazza Affari closed down in the last session of the week, enlivened by a technical fault that blacked out the Ftse Mib and Ftse All Share indices for 4 hours (both – 0.91%). A blackout linked to IT problems encountered in the rest of the world, which lasted from 1 to 5 pm approximately, without consequences on trading, normally for over 2.28 billion euros in value. The spread between the 10-year BTP and German Bund was little changed at 130.6 points, with the Italian yield up 3.5 points to 3.77% and the German one up 3.6 points to 2.46%. The minus sign prevailed on the basket of large stocks, with sharp declines for Nexi (-3.81%), which reached the level of the placement of a share by Unicredit (-0.36%) announced the day before. Problems related to the global IT failure on the digital payments front are to be ruled out. Stm (-2.98%), Iveco (-2.77%) and Stellanits (-2.22%) are also weak, in line with the trend of the sector in Europe. Cucinelli (-2.11%) and Ferragamo (-3.66%) are still struggling, in the wake of the slowdown in the Chinese economy, while Eni (-1.47%) and Saipem (-1.7%) have suffered from the drop in crude oil. Banks have not encountered IT problems, in no particular order. Popolare Sondrio has lost 1.05%, Intesa 0.61% and Mps 0.55%. Banco Bpm is unchanged, Bper is slightly up (+0.3%). Few other stocks are in positive territory, including Diasorin (+0.93%), Amplifon (+0.81%) and Prysmian (+0.59%). Little moved Leonardo (+0.18%), Fineco (+0.16%) and Pirelli (+0.14%). Brilliant instead Piovan (+11.38%), which closed just below 14 euros of the Investindustrial OPA. (ANSA).
