European stock exchanges: open up, eyes on recovery
The European stock exchanges open higher. Piazza Affari starts up strongly: + 0.75%. On the markets, signs of recovery seem to prevail over fears of lockdowns, as evidenced by the positive closures on Wall Street and Asia and futures in New York. However, strong volatility remains on the price lists due to the impact of the third wave of the pandemic and the slowness of vaccinations. London advanced by 0.63% to 6,715 points. In Milan, the Ftse Mib index marks + 0.7% to 24,377 points. Frankfurt gains 0.6% to 14,712 points and Paris rises 0.29% to 5,969 points. The price of oil also rebounds, while remaining subject to strong ups and downs.
