With the General Index continuing the image of stagnation of the last few days, the Athens Stock Exchange completed another five-day period with marginal and lackluster fluctuations (-0.1%), giving a new extension to the sluggish climate of the current period.

However, there were also some stocks (five of the Large Cap and five of the Mid Cap), which managed to stand out in this mediocrity and to add special interest to an otherwise (almost) uneventful week.

The blue chips that “starred”

OR Coca-Cola was one of those cases, with the index-weighted stock gaining cumulatively +4% in the last five days, returning above 33 euros and “scissoring” the distance from the recent 4-year highs of 34 euros to just -2%. Somehow, the capitalization of the listed company has returned to the limits of 12.5 billion euros (No. 1 most valuable company on the board).

Its stock followed closely behind Motor Oilwhich, despite reasonable outflows due to the deletion from MSCI Standard Greece, recovered and returned (albeit temporarily) to the area of 22 euros. The result? Profits +2,6% during the week.
