Stock Market | Sensex up 88 points | Sensex opened flat

Mumbai: Today (Wednesday) trading in the Mumbai Stock Exchange started without fluctuations. The Sensex was up 52 points at 60,708 during opening trade. Similarly, the Nifty on the national bourse was below 18,076.

After closing yesterday’s trade in profit, the stock markets opened Wednesday trading flat. As of 09.41 am, the Sensex was up 88.48 points at 60,744.20. The Nifty rose 14.25 points to 18,067.55 on the national bourse.

Indian stock markets also opened today’s trade on a positive note amid a stable global environment.

As far as individual stocks are concerned Tata Steel, Wipro, HDFC, ITC, L&T, Asian Paints, Nestlé India, Hindustan Unilever were the gainers. Shares of M&M, Reliance Industries and Tata Motors were in decline.
