Mumbai: The morning trading in the Mumbai stock market on Wednesday (Nov. 2) started with a decline. The Sensex was down 63 points (0.10 per cent) at 61,058 in early trade. Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty was down 28 points (0.16 per cent) at 18,116.

Trading in the stock market today started with a decline. As of 9.18 am in today’s trade, the Sensex was down 130.90 points at 60,990.45. Meanwhile, the National Stock Market fell by 1.85 points to 18,143.55.

Indian stocks opened lower today as investors speculated that interest rates may be changed ahead of the outcome of the US Federal Reserve Bank’s policy meeting.

Sunpharma Industries, Tech Mahindra, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, Tata Steels, Ultra Tech Cement, HDFC Bank, ITC, HDFC, HCL Technology, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI, L&T were among the gainers in today’s trade. Bajaj Finance, State Bank of India, Hindustan Unilever, Power Grid Corporation, Axis Bank, Wipro, NTPC among others declined.
