While Indian stock markets ended Monday trading in gains, the BSE Sensex closed down 49 points at 59,245.98 and the NSE Nifty closed down 10 points at 17,655.60.
As far as the BSE is concerned, 11 out of 30 listed stocks were in profit. The remaining 19 stocks saw declines.
Today (September 6), NTBC shares rose 2.6 per cent to 168.40, Bharti Airtel shares rose 2.4 per cent to 758.10, Tata Steels shares rose 1.6 per cent to 108.65, Reliance Industries shares rose 0.9 per cent to 2593.25 and Power Grid shares rose 0.7 per cent to 225.10 today (September 6). completed the trade.
On the other hand, shares of Bajaj Finserv, Mahindra and Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Finance and Kodak Mahindra were the top losers on the Sensex.
Apollo Hospitals, Bharti Airtel, Cipla, Coal India, Dr. Reddy’s Labs closed the session with gains, while Adani Ports and Specials, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finance ended the day’s trade with losses.
