Tesla (TSLA): The car maker’s shares slipped 1.4% in morning trading after it reported vehicle sales that fell quarter-over-quarter for the first time in more than a year. A lack of news about when Tesla will start deliveries of the Cybertruck has raised questions about the holdup.
Nvidia (NVDA): The semiconductor giant and other chip stocks rose. Another gainer was Palantir (PTLR), the data-mining company that, like Nvidia, is seen as well-placed to benefit from widespread adoption of AI tools.

Tesla (TSLA) experienced a slip of 1.4% in morning trading after reporting a decline in vehicle sales for the first time in over a year. Investors and analysts are now questioning the holdup in deliveries of Tesla’s highly anticipated Cybertruck.
Meanwhile, chip stocks are making gains, with Nvidia (NVDA) leading the pack. The semiconductor giant, along with other chip stocks, saw an increase in value. In addition to Nvidia, data-mining company Palantir (PTLR) is also expected to benefit from the widespread adoption of AI tools.
