Lilian: ‘In every region we work together with healthcare professionals who work in an obstetric partnership (VSV), such as midwives, gynaecologists and maternity nurses. In the Stoppen Together, Strong Together project, we are expanding this network with JGZ doctors, general practitioners and addiction doctors, so that we can achieve better coordination in the care chain.
We believe that the regional context and setting is decisive for the implementation of the guideline. What works in Groningen does not necessarily work in another region. It often concerns practical matters that differ regionally, such as referring to other care providers. That is why an action plan has been drawn up and evaluated for each region.
