SIG Strasbourg strengthens by recruiting Tim Frazier. Aged 32, he notably went through the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA.

The Strasbourg basketball club has recruited American leader Tim Frazier until the end of the season as a medical freelancer to replace Jean-Baptiste Maille, victim of a cruciate ligament rupture. At 32, Frazier, Penn State University’s all-time leading passer, was recently signed to AEK Athens.

From 2015 to 2022, he played for nine different franchises in the NBA, mostly on short-term contracts. “It’s not easy to find a good point guard. I think that with Tim we have what we were looking for”, underlined the sports director of the SIG, the Italian Nicola Alberani, quoted in the press release.

Strasbourg is currently 11th in the regular season of the French championship.
