The Port of Ashdod will invest NIS 4.5 million in four startups operating within the technology incubator established by the port. The four startups were carefully selected at the end of a pilot that lasted about six months, in which the developed technologies were incorporated into the port works.

The startups belong to four companies, including SPINFRAME, which develops a unique technology of automatic photo systems combined with AI technology to detect damage to cars disembarking from the ship without delays; ENWIZE company that develops augmented and virtual reality technology for training the operation teams that helps prevent mistakes and create a safe work environment; 2.0 CYBER company that develops technology to prevent the spread of cyber attacks within the corporate network; The CYBERVIEW company which has developed an information security management platform in an ongoing and effective manner.

“The Ashdod Port Company considers investment in technological entrepreneurship a strategic move, with the aim of continuing to lead the field of innovation in the field of port and maritime traffic, both in order to improve our competitive and technological ability and in order to meet the global challenges faced by ports all over the world,” said the chairman of the port board Ashdod, Orna Hozman-Bakur. “We are confident that this investment will yield optimal results for the port, the Israeli economy, and also the international port system.”

Roi Abrahami, manager of the innovation system at Ashdod Port, added: “We congratulate the startups that were chosen to deepen the joint activity and see this as a significant opportunity for the advancement of technologies in the maritime field, in Israel and in the world.”

The technology incubator at the port was established as part of the port’s innovation strategy. Since its establishment, in 2021, the incubator has accompanied over 60 startups in various fields, including operations, logistics, cyber, safety and more.
