Kochi: Six pet rabbits died after being attacked by stray dogs in Kothamangalam, Ernakulam. The incident took place at Ayirurpad in Pindimana panchayat. Taj’s six rabbits were bitten by stray dogs. The stray dogs attacked the rabbits by breaking the iron cage placed near the house. Locals said that stray dog ​​nuisance has been rampant in the area for a few days.

Stray dogs were found poisoned to death in Erur, Kochi. Five stray dogs died. The dead dogs were buried yesterday. A similar incident took place in Kottayam the other day.

A group of stray dogs were found dead in Mulakulam in Kottayam. Police have registered a case in the incident. The Vellore police registered a case under the section against cruelty to animals. Following the complaint of the animal lovers, the doctors of the animal welfare department reached and conducted the postmortem of the dead dogs. On Monday morning, a group of dogs were found dead in Karikode, Kayiyurikal and Keezhur in Mulakulam Panchayat. 12 dogs died. The bodies of all the dogs were found with signs of poisoning. The panchayat’s position was that there should be no investigation into the incident as it is an area where dog harassment is rampant.
