“Strehler how is the night?” is a documentary by Alessandro Turci produced by Dugong Films and RAI Documentari, on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Giorgio Strehler. It will be previewed on Sunday 28 November at 4 pm at the Torino Film Festival (out of competition) and soon to be broadcast on Rai 3. The documentary accompanies the viewer along a formidable career, through a mine of unpublished voices and testimonies from the RAI archives. From the foundation of the Piccolo Teatro to the revelation of Bertolt Brecht, from “Arlecchino” to “Faust”, from the quarrel with Von Karajan to the latest Mozart directories, the film returns with the participation of Ornella Vanoni, Franca Cella, Franca Squarciapino, Andrea Jonasson, Giulia Lazzarini, Pamela Villoresi, Vittoria Crespi Morbio, Franca Tissi, Rosanna Purchia, Ezio Frigerio, Giancarlo Dettori, Stefano Rolando, Maurizio Porro, and Claudio Magris.
